1. ACCEPT the reality of your situation.

Ignore that negative voice inside your head who berates your imperfections. Say “I’m fabulous and I can do this no matter what.” Avoid people in your life who put you down, hound you with negativity or learn to tune them out. Your LadyBoss journey is for you, not them. Prove them wrong. Show the naysayers you can do this.
2. Take care of yourself FIRST.
Getting a healthy body means putting you first instead of a spouse, kids, parents, friends, careers and a thousand other things that life throws at you. Don’t let the unexpected obstacles of life derail you from your goal of getting fit. Stay focused. When life throws you a curveball, throw one back. Keep that forward motion, reach your target.
Women don’t multi-task because we want to—we have to have to get everything done. We get up early, go to bed late, and cut down on our sleep time to cram more things into our waking hours. Women’s responsibilities with careers and family often leave them exhausted and stretched far too thin to be effective. While we make supper, we help the kids with their homework; feed the dog; do laundry; start the dishwasher and text the boss back on our cell phones, all at the same time.
3. Start Your Future NOW.
No wonder you’re tired and feel like you’re running in circles. You need to carve out time for yourself. It’s time to move you into the top slot. Deep down you want to do this. You need to do this for you and you alone…not for anybody else, but you.
You must put yourself first.
