My Belly Rolls
I wanted to show you the TRUTH.
I’m sick of you seeing the PERCEPTION & not the reality….
I remember when I was heavier, I used to sit down and feel my belly rolls and feel terrible about myself because I was always chasing a “perfect picture” from Instagram of some fitness model.
I don’t ever ever want you to feel that way because of me…
I want you to know the reality…
The picture on the left – posed, holding my breath, sucked in & flexed, while also trying to make it look effortless…
The picture on the right – is me bent over, with all my rolls, no sucking in, no arched back, just me being natural…
If you’re going to see the posed “perfect” picture of me, You can bet that I’m going to show you the natural me…
Just because you have some belly rolls doesn’t make you any less beautiful, it doesn’t make you any less inspiring, it just makes you NORMAL like ever single other woman!
We’ve been told so much that we don’t measure up, that we aren’t ENOUGH unless we are a certain weight or body fat percentage or have a thigh gap or cellulite free skin…
But this is all B.S.!!!!
Your worth isn’t measured by how many belly rolls you have! … YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL!
Your beauty isn’t defined by the dimples on your butt.
…by the wrinkles on your forehead.
…by the skin hanging under your arms.
…or by the cellulite on your legs.
There’s so many fitness people and models who want to uphold this IDEA of “perfection”, but I’m here to tell you that it doesn’t exist.
I’ve been on both sides of the fence, & honestly – after I lost the weight I felt WORSE about my belly rolls than I did when I was heavy.
Because I was chasing that idea of perfection that was sold to me but I wasn’t measuring up…
I don’t want you to ever go through what I went through…
I have finally overcome that fear.
& loving my body and my belly rolls was the best decision I ever made.
Be PROUD of your body & LOVE your body.
Because even though it is PERCEIVED that “Perfect” exists, it doesn’t.
But you are PERFECTLY IMPERFECT just the way you are.
