You need to envision yourself as if you already love yourself. I know this might feel weird at first, but it works! It’s very simple. All you need to get started is to find a quiet space, close your eyes, and picture a life where you love yourself.
- Positive Goals
You need to learn how to invest time and energy in yourself. You need to have a desire to improve. Writing positive goals will help you feel like you are working towards improving yourself and your life.
“I am beautiful” “I care about my body” “I love my life”. Write them somewhere visible so you see them everyday. I used to write them on my mirror and read them when I was getting ready.
- Nourishing your body
You need to take care of your body. Self-love is also about self-respect, and allowing your body to have the healthy food it needs to operate, and the sleep it deserves.
- Repetition & Consistency
Self love does not appear overnight. If you want to learn to love yourself for good, you need to repeat step 1-4 EVERYDAY. You need to envision self-love everyday, you need to write daily & weekly goals that are positive, you need to repeat your affirmation, and you need to fuel your body with healthy food and rest.
