If you want the most out of your workouts, you need to reboot them every now and then.

Refresh your goals

Re-write your goals every week or every month, so they grow as you grow.  Your goals should be attainable and motivating.

Schedule workouts in calendar

If you wait until you have time to workout, you will never workout!  You need to schedule time to workout in your schedule. Use a weekly agenda, or a monthly calendar to pencil in your workout slots.  No excuses!

Track goals using reward system

Working out is not easy.  You should have a reward system that helps to congratulate you for the awesome effort you’ve put out, and that helps to motivate you moving forward.  Otherwise, it won’t be long until you feel like quitting. It’s important to have something to look forward too.

Quick checklist

Working out does not have to be complicated.  What I do, instead of walking around with an overwhelming workout plan in my head, I made a 5 point checklist.  All I have on that list is 1) Workout, 2) Eat healthy food that fuel my body, 3) Drink water, 4) Write my goals, 5) Repeat positive affirmations.  I can easily check these off everyday, which makes my life so much easier.

Inspiration quotes

Make sure you have inspirational quotes handy, to help you move forward when times get hard.  The one that kept me going for a while was: “She believed that she could, so she did.” Whatever quote speaks to you will do the trick, but make sure to look for new ones, when the ones you have don’t inspire you anymore.
